Consultation is available to individual clinicians, clinical teams, and healthcare organizations. This includes case consultation for complex presentations, support for clinical teams building or strengthening mental health programming, and training on the psychological dimensions of medicine, aging, and serious illness.
Avi's clinical background spans Primary Care, Oncology, Pain, and Palliative Care settings. His doctoral research focused on the role of psychologists in end-of-life care, and he has presented on grief, aging, serious illness, and integrated behavioral health to clinical teams, medical trainees, and graduate training programs at institutions including Rutgers GSAPP, Ferkauf, and NYU, and across the VA healthcare network.
