Overview

Supervision is available to licensed clinicians at any career stage. Sessions focus on case formulation and clinical reasoning, the therapeutic relationship, and the particular challenges that arise in complex or high-stakes clinical work.

Avi has supervisory experience from extensive work at the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System, where he supervised psychology externs and interns and provided training to medical residents and fellows. His clinical background in integrated medical settings - Primary Care, Oncology, Pain, and Palliative Care - informs his approach to complexity, serious illness, grief, and the pressures clinicians face in those contexts.
